The cam covers are worth that alone now.

I'm not clued up on the demand for sumps so it could be dependent on that but I'd say around £2k with £1k to put it right if you really wanted to?

To me it’s a big risk splashing out 1.5k on something that’s an unknown quantity and is already damaged. Yes the seller is being very honest but still it’s a gamble. Obviously just what I think and if people are paying that sort of money that can only be a good thing for all of us

Thanks for all your input, looks like Ill be keeping it and sticking it in a Volvo or something

Wasn’t being out of order mate. Personally I would have it built with the oversized pistons then sell it 🤷🏻‍♂️ I have two engines sat there in pieces doing nothing and had people offer me peanuts for and they can sit there until they are back together as will be worth more.
