Disassembling Mirrors without destroying them...

I have an electric folding mirror set but it has damaged housings that will need repair/respray but I was able to take everything out.

I also have a set of heated mirrors in perfect shape and correct color but heard the spring is an issue.

Is there a way to take the mechanism out with out destroying it?
