I've just had a chance to look at it and I can confirm its not for a RHD car. So this relates to Denso 476-0059. The pipes are approx 1cm off location compared to my original and there is a small locating nub for the expansion valve that doesn't correlate either. It is possible that these can be made to fit as the pipes might be able to be moved slightly and the nub removed. I'll look into this more at the weekend. I've found a Four Seasons option (that is half the price of Denso) under p/n 1033691589 but the listing for that says 95 on which ties in with the part change date. Seeing MW's car is a later car maybe the Denso 476-0059 is specific to the 93/4 car years? Chris Wilson might be the one to know as I believe he was looking into making evaporators at one point. PS - Having looked at pictures of the 4 Seasons option the inlet/outlet pipes are in the middle of the core. So the same as the left picture which which looks like it could be the new Denso part, so physically the same setup. Mine is a 93 and I picked up the Denso 476-0059 from Rock Auto so I may be in luck. I shall report back when it arrives and know if it can be fitted. If not, I may be on the hunt for another one.
