Thinking of a full respray - windows out / undercarriage treatment

The UK front end will be getting changed (relax, parts are not getting sold just taken off and stored, just not my style), there is rust developing on doors, sills, behind the fender/bumper area, wheel arches, a hole in roof that leaks and a nasty scratch on the door. It was resprayed/filled/patched in places in the past, without taking some stuff off and you can see the original paint in places. So at this point it looks like doing a full respray might be in order. And who knows what else there is that isn't visible...I also really wanna have the undercarriage looked at and undersealed and stonechip guard put on. So all the glass and panels will have to come off. Engine/suspension won't be touched but paint will be blended with old paint so it's hidden by trim. The guy has worked on Supra's in the past and a few other exotic cars, spent quite a while talking to me as we looked all over the car and has invited me to get the car up so we can have a good look under it. And I really wanna look around the place too and see what set up they have going on.

I've never had a whole car resprayed but it's been on my mind for a while as I plan to keep the car and need to future proof it before it gets worse and metal contaminated further but since the whole front end will be getting changed, I might as well address the rust which has been steadily getting worse.

From those who have done it, what kind of items would you recommend I straight up replace?

This is still VERY early stages and I'm not sure when I will proceed as I need to figure out what parts I will need and what stuff I will be replacing so it all goes as smooth as possible and I'm not gonna rush into it until I'm comfortable. I'm still trying to get my first batch of parts which is so f**kin' slow. After a month of trying to put a list together, it just seems to stall and you have to bombard folk with messages to get them to move to the next step...🙄

Looking for suggestions, things to look out for and what you can expect to go wrong, cause I'm sure stuff will go wrong.

This future proofing is a labour of love  idiocy as far as a worthwhile investment is concerned.

I'd recommend that you only even consider it if you are planning on keeping the car for a long time as I reckon for every £10 you plough in you might, if invested wisely, add £2 to the cars value.  I've spent £11k on my underside and to be fair, it does look quite nice. I could spend another £6k on a respray and for sure that'd look nice too. I even treated it to a new lighter and climate control buttons. I've refurbished a leather three spoke steering wheel that's ready to fit and have a set of 17" OEM wheels ready to de-rubber and refurbish. I've got all new Toyota water hoses and fuel lines and brake lines to fit whenever. All new screen and door rubbers sitting on my shelves ready for a respray one day. The biggest question with future proofing is where do you stop and when do you stop, how much money are you going to spend along the way? I'm about £20k into the future proofing lifestyle and that's before costing in for a respray.

Its all a bit foolish throwing this kind of money around on a Supra and something I've only done because money doesn't particularly bother me and after 23 years together I've kind of got used to having the old girl around. Another word of advice is I started my future proofing lifestyle with a thought on keeping it to a £5k budget, so whatever you are thinking probably best double it, treble it and add a bit more.
