jongilly
Hi all.. I have recieved my rebuilt turbos back from midland turbos.. Top job by them... Putting all back together. I have come across a vsv control valve or for some thing else.. I can find the location for it or the wire that conntected to it. I took loads of photos during disassembly.. But cant locate it in my photos. Can you help with its location etc. Edited April 22, 2021 by jongilly (see edit history)

I am only familiar with the JDM system though

I could be wrong, but I think there's at least one VSV there. There are 2 vsv there.. All connected and in place...
jim_supra
Isn't there only 3 VSV's on the turbo side, then 1 on the inlet side? Sounds like you have them all connected up already.
jongilly
Thats what the workshop shows.. But I cant understand where the other one has come from... Just started the car.. All seems well...
Rob W
Three locations turbo side and another vsv next to the pressure tank under the inlet manifold.
mattdavies
Thinking about it, as its a UK spec is it something to do with the EGR ?
Rob W
The EGR kit sits on the rear of the inlet manifold and the VSV for that is just a square with the 2 solenoids and the plug, no breather port. I’ve just looked on the uk car and can’t see another VSV anywhere for the EGR.

Theres 4 on the turbo side, 2 on no1 turbo and 2 at the rear on the intake pipework
