Wishieftrottle
Hi, I wanted to make engine bay pops and looks as new again, so I started with restoration of plastic and tubes/hoses. Trim dressing from Auto Finesse was used after thorough cleaning of all parts. I am very happy with the results. Lets see how long it will work. What kind of chemicals do you use for plastic revival? Scooter
Eastwood plastic resurfacer is expensive but apparently very good. Mwilkinson is a doing a new parts nut and bolt diy restoration of his Supra and likes it.
mwilkinson
I think the Eastwood resurfacer is the only long term reliable product for plastic restoration. I don't know about its use on rubber or in engine bays.
rider
The Eastwood spray is the restorers go to product.
SUPRA4EVA
Might pick some of this stuff up, I'm looking at detailing my engine bay at some point. Also, what's best for metal pipe work? ie - bodies, manifolds, elbows.
Wishieftrottle
For metal parts I use paste called Silichrom...
