azam Posted March 31, 2021 Share Posted March 31, 2021 So I started my car today after a year, needed a jump start, thought I’ll take it to work, Birmingham to Coventry, the drive there was okay but revs were a bit hesitant, on the way back the Battery kept on dying, but did start again if I jump start it. Lucky I have a booster pack to hand. My first obvious thoughts are alternator, even tho I had never had this problem or symptoms previously. Before I replace it any tips or things I should look out for. not sure if it is related but previously just before parking the car up, if I touch the body panels, I would get a small static shock. mattdavies Posted March 31, 2021 Share Posted March 31, 2021 Are there any other symptoms ? What are the non starting issue ? Dead or a Click ? I would say a battery or Earthing issue.
