My BPU Supra has te37 alloys on in the below fitment - Rear - 18” x 9.5J pcd 114.3 of+40 Front - 18” x 8.5J pcd 114.3 of+40 With Front - 225x45 r18 Rear - 255x45 r18 tyres, but I feel like they not only look like tractor tyres but feel nothing can anyone recommend me some sizes to look at ordering tyres wise, the car is a summer time car only and doesn’t see track. After speaking to a few friends I’m probably looking at ordering some MPS4’s but need a good tyre size setup, not looking at stretched tyres etc just something that not only keeps the car on the road but looks as good also. any help/guidance is appreciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Here's a handy chart for tyre width recommendations. https://www.tyresizecalculator.com/charts/tire-width-for-a-wheel-rim-size-chart Push the widest tyre you can fit is my advice. 9.5J isn't particularly wide so fact you're running then already is positive and no rub hopefully. Regarding tyre type. I've not met many people that have tried a huge range. Most seems to try a couple then get their favourites. So best to get the best you can afford. Making sure the compound suits your quantity of miles. Dont want to get soft tyres then wonder why you cant do so many miles. Lots of good reviews on here from people on experiences. Is this big powered Supra’s only? The height is a percentage of the width. So 35% of the wider rears would roughly equal 40% of the narrower fronts. Scooter Posted March 22, 2021 Share Posted March 22, 2021 Ok so stock tyres are 235/45/17 and 255/40/17 which are 643mm and 636mm diameter Your current tyres are 225/45/18 and 255/45/18 which are 660mm and 687mm diameter, so your car will be a bit 'nose down' and approx 1cm higher ride height at the front and approx 2cm higher at the rear (I mention this as going back to the more correct tyres will mean you'll drop lower).
