Areet lads took the car for its mot today and after it sitting in the garage over the winter and not moved drove it there and the power steering has sprung a leak. Checked it out and it’s this part in the picture. Spoke to Keiron today and he’s gonna try and source one but if anyone has one that would be great.

Cheers Shareef

There are a few of these for sale on eBay.

EBay Link

They are an available parts still, so hopefully Keron or our other trader Paul at TCB might be able to get you a better price.

Cheers for that mate but I think that’s a jspec one I’ve got a Uk. Different shape.

Can rebuild that with fuel hose for the corners and the correct id pipes for the straight parts. Seen it done nicely on a members car

I was thinking that mate. Wouldn’t even no where to start to be honest. Hopefully someone who has done it will see this. Cheers

A little multi-row cooler could be an easy solution, either permanently or as a temporary fix to get through the MoT. They’re not very expensive and there’s usually room for them to be mounted in front of the passenger side wheel arch.

Just cut it and loop it out with a piece of rubber pipe for the time being, I ran like that for 15 years with no problems. I have now fitted a multi row cooler instead.

This for the MOT, it's not under pressure and it's probably just a rust pinhole leak? and then decide on a decent long term solution

Not on the UK spec, there's a big autobox cooler there mate. Easier just to loop it out for the time being, I never had any temp problems in 15 years with not running any cooler, and I hammer the car.

That’s interesting- I didn’t know that about the UK specs.

Yeah it's pretty big to fair. I've upgraded mine further as it was looking a bit tired, and now I'm running a single turbo.

Cheers mate I didn’t no I could just loop it out. You got some pictures by any chance and or what you replaced it with. Keiron got back to me this afternoon but I’ve just had a chance to come on and look here.

Just cut through the pipes of the old one and loop it together with a short length of rubber with jubilee clips, that will get you through the MOT.

The photo shows what we did a couple years ago. Upgraded the old tired stock autobox cooler on the right, and added a power steering cooler at the front.

I'm pretty sure you could take the wheel off and arch liner to just fit a temporary loop.
