Tach signal for standalone ecu + C.O.P

Hi All,

I am currently wiring my 2jz non vvti with ecumaster classic. As it is na-t, I am getting rid of distributor and doing smart coil conversion.

With smart coils igniter is not in use and its getting deleted. Where do I pin tachometer signal from?

On ecumaster there is a pin 20 on grey plug - aux 4/ tacho. Do I pin this to body loom that sends signal to cluster?

Thanks,

Ed

Yes connect it to the tach input on orange 36 pin interior plug.

Don't forget you will need to bypass a resistor on your NA tach in order for it to work with the signal outputted by ECU.

Thanks Mike.

I have already bypassed the resistor in the cluster. Just wasn't sure with the pining of tacho signal.
