Supra-love
Something I haven’t bought yet as I’m unsure if to go with a new stock one or get aftermarket? Although I hear some including the ati v2 requires honing to fit? Running 860bhp and Max 8000rpm or there abouts what is the safest best option to dampen the crank etc. Edited March 9, 2021 by Supra-love (see edit history)
rider
The g/centrifugal force is almost doubled going from 6,500rpm to 8,000rpm so I'd be wondering if the ceramic ring on the stock balancer will be life shortened or compromised. Maybe best go for a solid lump of metal balancer? Edited March 10, 2021 by rider (see edit history)

Maybe best go for a solid lump of metal balancer? Yes but isn’t it 7.5k stock rpm limiter? I wasn’t really sure what to do? Any recommendations to one that is safe and won’t affect the crank? rider
There is an online review for this balancer on a 2JZ Supra that gives something to be aware of with that balancer: Quote Very well machined, and fit perfect in my 93 Supra I don’t have any complaints at all about this item aside from the thick coat of the finish in the centre ring which had to get scratched off to fit on the crank. Other than that 100%.
