Ric
Hi Guys, Just seen this post on facebook and thought i'd share here. Quite interesting to see how rare the GZ aerotop actually is, i knew it was but never how rare. Given that there was only 354 GZ built makes the RHD GZ Aero a rare bird. Who has the 575? Mugello
Interesting reading, I have not seen this before. Mine started life as an N/A Auto (SZ JDM) in 202 black.
uzzyuzzy
I owned a silver 93 GZ aerotop back in 2013, didn't realise how few were built and always regretted selling it. Were all the later models non turbo?
Faye
Add a bit of facelift rarity into the mix too and the numbers are probably tiny.
Ric
I believe the GZ stopped at 1994/95 All the facelifts were SZs. I could be wrong though. Edited February 23, 2021 by Ric (see edit history)
SPG
I’m pretty sure Hammer on here owns a facelift Aero TT in DJG.
Ric
I struggled to even find a colour code 575. But it turns out it's a pre-production supra colour never released on the retail Supra. It should be a Yellow'y colour. Not the green shown. Pudsey
That’s interesting. Didn’t realise they were made in such low numbers. I imagine over time the numbers remaining are even smaller perhaps.
SPG
I think a good chunk of those numbers reside in Aus also. I know one of the solar yellow ones belongs to All Street/Abdullah over there.
rider
This thread should be more properly be titled RHD rarity as there are rather a lot of LHD aero's supplied, around 10k, so as a model variant its not that rare.

jim_supra
I didn't know the numbers for RHD aerotops were so low, and that mine is 1 of 99 RHD aero's in Storm blue.
evinX
Even though that says 1993-1999 im pretty sure those are facelift figures. Sure theres more than 500 silver aerotops worldwide. Personally dont like the self owned supra registers and their own documentation. Id only trust official figures from Toyota
The Raven
You elites and your fancy gz Aeros. Converted na Aeros are the real unicorns and probably worth 5k more, they look better and probably smell better to. Nothing to do with me owning the converted unicorn of greatness
Ark
Only 10 8L5's built. That must be worth a bump in price if I ever sell up

Still lurking about here, depending on work, kids and the state of my love/hate relationship with the car...mostly whether the car's working right or not...I never signed on for classic car ownership and all the strife that brings! When looking for one (way back) I saw two pre-facelift aeros in DJG's both N/A's but mine is the only facelift aero DJG I've ever seen.

Hamilton
Mine’s a GZ Aero too. I saved this from the Supra Registry a while back (couldn’t see it on there anymore though). The numbers seem to agree with those above.
scott.wild
GZ Aero here as well. 1993 was originally TT auto in silver. Now a rebuilt engine, single turbo with DCT 7 speed gearbox. I am actually thinking about maybe selling as well.
Homer
94' GZ Aero here as well. I had no idea the production numbers were so small
