Hello Supra Lovers!

I am going to buy a 1996 toyota supra without the rear spoiler, with a manual gearbox and a twin turbo engine making 320 HP

and i am worried about some things, more about the engine because i dont know if the engine is a 2jz gte cause the owner don't know a lot of cars and stuff like that and the gearbox cause i don't want a automatic one i want a manual

i find out that the original 6 speed manual is very expensive and some guys in another forum told me that best thing to do is buying a bmw one and i really thinking about buying the bmw gearbox what you guys would do?

and about the engine im going to put some aftermarket items in the engine too, air filter crankshafts maybe a single big turbo etc

but i dont know a lot of mechanic of cars i can do simple things like change the airfilter to a k&n filter simple things like that, im thinking about hiring a mechanic but seems like is going to be expensive AF or i try to learn something about it before making any mess what you guys think i should do?

Im going to leave here what says the owner
