Everyone told me that on the vvti the s366 would be way laggier than the 6466 and now I wonder if it was even worth paying double the money if there’s not gonna be a massive difference. I’m asking you because you’re like a legend in the supra scene. You’ve got an even bigger one so how do you get it to not be so laggy? You’re trying to compare two different sized turbos, the bigger one will be laggier, anything under 67mm is good on a supra though. I don’t like precision as they are very weak imo, size for size they perform well though.

To be fair Harry, not everyone told you that when you asked on Facebook mate, myself included lol. But go look at Bignum's video's, and you tell me if you think the Borg Warner is laggy

fastphil666
I love how this started out as a clean n/a build with just a few choice bits. Now its near 1000hp at the fly!
JamieP
Thought I’d do a little update, just had it back from SRD, I changed to a smaller turbo as I wanted faster response, it’s on a 6266 and made 680whp, it’s a lot more fun to drive now. Also the boys put all new subframes and arms etc underneath, underside clean up, she is looking fresh now. Paul Chesire just sorted the V161 gearbox for me, the lever wasn’t springing back to the center as it should, one of the pistons was stuck, all sorted now. Also got myself one of them quickjack ramps a while back, handy for home. car is pretty much all done as I want it now.

Zofix
Hi Jamie, Did you have to roll/cut the fenders to fit those BC forged 9.5x18 and 11.5x18? Thanks!

JamieP
I don’t think I ever did an update on the interior also, fitted some recaro CS seats from a focus RS. I got them to sit nice and low, super comfy. Edited February 4 by JamieP (see edit history)
JamieP
I’ve also got another Project on the go, I bought an escort cosworth that somebody had fitted a V8 in, it didn’t run, engine was totally wrong for this type of car I think. I wanted a fast/reliable 4 cylinder Paul Cheshire has been fully rebuilding it for me to an amazing standard, include a new engine, Honda k24 turbo. This car is nut/bolt brand new. Check out his or my Instagram for updates on that.
