suprasurrey
My 2000 vvti auto refuses to start and I found Rad no 1 fuse(20A) had blown. I replaced the fuse with the ignition switch off and it blew straight away. The car cranks over fine and gives the odd splutter but won`t start. I`ve removed the fuel pump and had it running on the bench, but I don`t hear it running with the ignition on. No fault codes showing, assuming I jumped across the correct diagnostic pins. Any ideas what Rad no 1 fuse controls or other reasons it won`t start?

Expand 20A is a big fuse for a radio, must be there to run 250,000W subwoofers.

Expand Yep here it is, it goes into the stereo (or OEM amplifier if you have the fancy audio option).
