Suprastore twin turbo upgrade

Hi all,

 I did search this already and to my surprise found nothing so I was wondering if anyone ever sent their tt’s over the pond to get upgraded by suprastore? Is it quite an outdated mod compared to a good single setup?

I had my TT hybrids done at SRD, sure a few other companies do them as well. Would just be an additional cost sending them abroad?

And how much further can you push them safely? Is it worth the cost in your opinion?

Mine are running 1.3bar, turbos can handle more but i'm maxed out on the stock fuel injectors.

No need at all to go to the US for tuning, plenty of competent tuners in the UK to help you out.

The suprastore ones are like the stu hagan ones, aren't they? Or maybe I'm confusing them with stu's set up which never seems to be ready for production. I think most hybrid TT set ups run GT28 wheels in there and supposedly good for 1.5bar...but then you hear about them failing at 1.5 bar too after not too long (about a 18 months to 2 years?). I was going to to that on mine but decided to just go big single and find out what the whole 'stock block 2JZ motors are bomb proof' is all about.
