erachter
Hi guys, I've recently changed my ignition barrel light bulb, the old one was burnt out. After changing it the light stays always on, even when the car is locked. Does anyone know why this is happening and what would be a fix? Kev.O
I believe this is also linked to the divers door handle. Is this lite too?
Swampy442
Doesn't it time out after a certain time, like 30 seconds? Did you replace like for like or with an LED?
Kev.O
There is a switch on the handle to activate both lights. If there is broken or permanently making contact the barrel light will stay on as the system thinks the handle is being lifted.

It stays on for hours

I will have a look at the handle since I had some issues with it in the past. I dont have a light on the handle, or it does not work
Kev.O
My guess is that bulb has blown too as the switch is making them constantly lite. Edited December 9, 2020 by Kev.O (see edit history)
