wile e coyote
So I decided to build some model tanks.Never done any since I was a kid and the detail was amazing.I then thought I would try a bit of airbrush and got a small booth and airbrush Really enjoyed this during the first lockdown. Then as some of you know I lost my dad 3 weeks ago and whilst going through pics and remembering he drove tank transporter during his time in the army.I now have got and started to build the truck he drove.Really wish I've done this when he was here.Fiddly but helps

wile e coyote
Well not done much more to the truck as been busy and unfortunately my uncle passed away also beginning of January. he was well into his jets and since 2008 being having a Jaguar jet restored. it was completed last year and he was able to see it do an afterburner run and is the only running one in the world so a great legacy to leave. it is at bentwaters Cold War museum so now I have another model to build Edited January 29, 2021 by wile e coyote (see edit history)

j_jza80
Sorry to hear that It was scandalous that those jets were retired when they were, they were (and are) still capable jets, and the fleet had just had an expensive round of upgrades to keep them flying longer.

Can appreciate all the effort thats gone into them, as I'm a bit of a scale modeller myself. (see pic) Sorry to hear about your uncle passed away too. That Jag must sound awesome.
