ballsdeep
I just wanted to share my simple but hopefully affective improvement for the trd spoiler. Decided I wanted to make some gaskets for the base of the spoiler so went about removing them, what I wasn’t expecting was a water feature when I removed one of the mounting bolts. Literally they were both full to the brim with water! So Iv made some for the end of the blade too and plan to cover the bolt holes. Not yet fitted but I’m pretty sure it should prevent any more water in! for anyone needing these this is what I used. 2mm 50x30cm neoprene adhesive sheet cost me £11 off eBay and I still have some left. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F401911257667 Edited November 6, 2020 by ballsdeep (see edit history)
Big Mark
This is a well known coming problem. I drilled a couple of large holes in the bottom of each upright so that any water can drain out.
ballsdeep
That’s not a bad idea, I’m pretty confident the blade gaskets should work but just in case iv ran a bead of silicone around the bolt heads. Couldn’t believe the amount of water that came flooding out.
