Scoboblio
Mmmmmm, like the look of these! http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/Toyota_Supra_MkIV_Dial_Ki-THOR00008.asp But I'm not sure what they'd look like on a car with a standard pre-facelift interior. Anyone fitted these and got pics they'd be kind enough to share? I'm undecided what background colour to go for... blue to match my boost gauge, red to match the car etc
Jake
IIRC, Dangerous Brain and Carl0s both have those
Scoboblio
Thanks Jake. Unfortunately neither of them have any interior pics in their VB garage! C'mon guys, show off!

Scoboblio
Awwww bugger I hate it when that happens Thanks Jake.... you may remove the button from where I previously asked you to place it (just wipe it off before you expect me to use it ) In all seriousness cheers, that's what I was looking for. hogmaw
I got some of the stainless steel dials for my facelift. They reflected too much light, so I sprayed them with matt paint and they look cool now. Obviously you can do em any colour you want
supragold
I haven't seen these before and think they look awesome but where can I get a dash bulb colour kit from to match?
Scoboblio
I *think* that the kit comes with everything, maybe the backing film provides the different colours?
supragold
I mean the rest of the dash. You know, the heater dials and slip cont button etc. Can you get a replacement bulb kit for all that. I don't want half blue and half green.
Scoboblio
Good point I've been told previously that coating light bulbs with nail polish works quite well Not that I've got any

You have to change the LEDs to do this on the circuit board, all the heater control lights are LEDs. Then you use some EL wire to do the backlights on the buttons. It's a bit of a PITA. There should be a couple of threads on here somewhere about it.
Scoboblio
Hmm, maybe I'll just stick with the stock backlight colour, these dials will still look better than the stock ones
Aerotop Dave
I've got some of these but my interior is far from standard.

KennyF you said you've ordered a set with heater dials? What do the heater dials look like?

dangerous brain
I've done the heater dials and replaced my LEDs with red ones. The backlights don't need doing on the heater knobs as thats got the foil on them. Think they were £15. I find in sunny weather with my roof off the glare will blind you a bit if the sun is coming in the roof from behind. I could take a pic of it all at night I guess but heres a pic in daylight (bigger but not much better than jezzies soz) http://www.showoffyourcar.com/cars/TOYOTA/11816.jpg http://www.showoffyourcar.com/cars/TOYOTA/11817.jpg
supragold
Mate it looks so much better doesn't it. Where did you get the LED's from?
