Supra-love
So my cat back and downpipe is a full 4”. I bought a 4” midpipe and it’s slightly smaller at 3.8”. Should I buy another one or will it be ok?
Mike2JZ
Will be fine for your turbo. Have done 1000bhp using 3.5'' before with no issues.

It’s just going from 4” - 3.8” - 4” I wasn’t sure about. Wanted to avoid any spiking, lag or creep etc, not sur if it’ll cause any unknown issues? Mike unfortunately I can’t fit a 4” downpipe in so they are having to run a 3” until it clears the manifold. is this going to cause any unwanted set backs when tuning? cheers mate Edited November 13, 2020 by Supra-love (see edit history)
