jackso11
I need a runabout with more seats for the kids. We have a family Tiguan Allspace but when the wife needs to go somewhere for work and takes that I have the Supra, a T4 van (2 seats up front, none in the back), a little mx5 and an mgb.....and 2 kids. So I need to get something with more seats, easy to put - 1 year old and a 4 year old in. I think I have narrowed it down to either and Audi A3 or an Audi A4 I have found. Which would you choose... A3 is a Quattro - 230bhp, I think it’s SE spec so nothing special inside, no nav, no leather, grey cloth interior. A4 is an S-line - but only 143bhp tdi. Leather heated seats, nav, parking sensors, generally more gadgets. What do you reckon? I am stuck deciding and need someone else’s view

Peter P
How about a Toyota Auris? Keeps it in the Toyota family and my little 1.6 Auto is nice and easy to drive and seats four comfortably. Boot is like a tardis, and I love it for daily use. Mine is a 2011 with under 40k miles on the clock. :) Struggling to upload a photo, but PM me your email address if you want to have a look mate.

j_jza80
Skoda Octavia
This, or a BMW 3 series touring as all rounders. If you want something comfortable, Volvo v70 d5 2003 - 2007, but ideally a 2004/2005 (euro 3, so no dpf to go wrong, but still facelift). Very well engineered cars. nolizma
Im very happy with my Lexus IS250 so far. Does a little bit of everything. Rear seats are not the most spacious in class and they wont fold but thats my only complain really.

It takes a remap very nicely too returning very good MPG considering it is AWD, can easily get 800 miles from a full tank (less if mostly around town)
