mark newman
Hi any one know how much its cost to freshen up a large case diff , ie new bearings . and where can it be done . thanks Mark
mwilkinson
Hi Mark, I can't comment on the cost of the rebuild, but if you want the parts to do this the cheapest place I could find was SupraSport. I got everything I needed from them other than the shims. I got all new bearings, seals, o-rings, crush washer and the drive shaft flange nut for just over €500. Steve
Chris Wislon rebuilt mine when I changed to a OS Giken diff. Was 5 years or so ago though so cant remember what the charge was. Im sure SRD can also help with this.

mwilkinson
I was originally going to do it myself, but I'm getting Chris Wilson to do mine.
rider
You really don't want to do diffs as a one off. I looked into doing a diff on my old Ford and the cost of the tools plus the opportunity to fuk it up made it only worthwhile if it was going to become your day job.
