i needed to heat it with a hairdryer to get it to form properly but it wasn't too bad. Fits really nice.

Nice, i did see them mention this on the site if distorted, so good to know that it is true. If they do still supply will order one quick!

They replied and I’ve just paid for the lip with ears type!

Got it for £125 with fitting kit and 3M tape :)

Just bare in mind the fitting kit they give you isn't really a 'fitting' kit. (well mine wasn't anyway) - it consisted of some self taper screws.

You can re-use your original hardware no problem but you may just need to make the holes already pre-drilled onto the splitter bigger.

Yeah they replied to me too and i ordered the V2 TRD style! for £139 (with shipping and insurance). Mate you you should have said that's what's your looking for, I would have sold you mine for cheaper :D.

What about this?

I bought this one a few year ago, fits perfectly and proper fitting kit with bolts to mount to bumper

Yeah I had seen this one from Whifbitz and have bought a few items from them in the past also servicing and upgrades to the car, all top quality, but wanted to see what other options were out there. Cheers though!

Turn out alright, was it simple enough to do? I thought i'd just buy the one without ears and just sell this one.

It was fine, only annoying thing is sanding down the edges to make it look fine right at the edge where you cut. I didn't go overboard but its hard to notice anyway, probably less work in buying another one.

Fair play. I was planning to sell the one I have already anyway, so easier for me to just buy one without the ears.
