Middle range coilover thoughts/feedback

My car came with HKS Hiper D coilovers and frankly in terms of handling, they are just epic. Or rather....they used to be. Being old as they are and the fact that I live in London, they're just too crashy and firm for me. Also, the front-right strut needs a rebuild and the car no longer handles as amazingly as it used to.

Now. My main focus for the car will be comfort first and then handling second. I'm looking at medium level coilovers like BC Racing, HSD, Meister R and Tein.

The Tein Flex Z seems to have good reviews online with other marques. The twin tube construction appeals to me and also the fact that it's been set up as a good, fast road coilover. I'll never track the car, but I do like to be a loon on country roads late at night and I love the feeling of almost limitless grip I can get with the Hiper D coilovers.

SO...anybody care to talk me out of getting the Flex Z's, or....?

Revisiting this because I've decide to double my budget for something more longer term and epic because I am really starting to love this car.

HKS Hipermax 4....GT or SP? I watched a YouTube video from HKS USA and the chap was saying that there's only a slight difference between the two. I'm not likely to track the car, but I am known for joining on a private road in Mexico late at night from time to time.

Do we have anybody here with first hand experience of these coilovers that can chime in? Preferably somebody with experience of them both? I like very sharp steering feel with little to no body roll. Lets not get into sway bars and bushings just yet. Just coilover talk if anybody has useful insight to bring in.
