Kearney
Hi lads and lassies, I taught I'd share a BBK with you all that myself and my mate designed. My had the small twin pot brakes and I wanted to put a bigger set on. I priced the SRT8 brake kit and noticed the front calipers alone were nearly €1k + delivery. Then I had to factor in pads, discs and the adaptor kit itself. Plus I wasn't too happy over having to cut a big notch out of the caliper. Anyway I noticed that 4 pot brembo calipers from a 2004 Range Rover TDV8 were quite reasonable. I was also happier going for the 4 pots they were as big as the 6 pots from the SRT8. There is plenty of Range Rovers in ireland and the UK so calipers can be easily got. I picked up a set from my local breakers. https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/5.jpg https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/6.jpg Here is the cost breakdown. Prices can obviously vary. Calipers -> €150-€300 Pads -> €50 Isf discs -> €190 Adapter plate -> €200 Brake fluid + new banjo washers -> €20 I've plenty of photos on Imgur but I seem to have an issue embeding them onto this site so I'll upload them seperately in the next post if needs be. Kearney
Did several designs on CAD and 3d printed different types of brackets. https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/24.jpg https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/25.jpg https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/48.jpg After we were happy with the fitment, we then we had them made in 12mm s275 steel. https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/26.jpg https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/27.jpg Went and bought genuine brembo pads. https://jza80.mkivsupra.net/imports/imports/2020/08/28.jpg Edited August 29, 2020 by Kearney (see edit history)

Kearney
Just a few more points to add, The calipers will fit under 18" wheels but may require some grinding around the outside. The oem supra brake lines bolt up with no issue as both use m10 banjo bolts. The range rover calipers are nearly the same width as UK spec brakes. Ive found these to be far superior in every way to the stock twin pots even with the OEM master cylinder.
Ric
Looks great dude. Are you planning on making any other adapter plates?
Kearney
Cheers! No nothing else planned. Although we did a design for offset dowels to properly fit evo calipers onto the backs of N/A single pot brakes. Just trying to see who can making them in billet. Wolfy
Do you have the details for the adapter spacers? Looks like a good conversation!
2jzjay
Nice install that, I run this setup on my supra too.... Question is..... I would like to run 18" wheels now. Currently on 19" as it looks as though its the smallest wheel I can fit. No clearance at all!! When you say 18" will fit, what mods would the calipers need and what offsets do you run on your setup? Thanks
