What rev limit?

just wondering what rev limit you can run with GW264 CAMS

And uprated valve springs Springs?

 

I'm getting the car mapped tomorrow and the current rec limiter is at 7k rpm and just wondered if this could be upped?

On our setup we have 264 cams and stock valve spring and rev to 7500rpm, no issues.

 

You’ll be able to rev a little higher with upgraded valve springs than how your car is currently setup.

If you`re stock bottom end i wouldnt go much above 7200

I've also thought about this... forged bottom end but 264 cams with stock valves/springs, 7200 or 7500rpm limit?

I was going to go to 7k on mine. Built bottom end with 264's on a stock head.

 

ARP 2000 rod bolts as well, they'll limit revs a little more than the 625+ bolts will.

Mine is fully forged with billet mains and ARP bolts throughout, 280 cams and built head with double valve springs etc. Currently mapped at 8000 by SRD, can go higher but held back because of gearbox
