TOKYO
nope, too damned involved that piece of kit . I saw the jet car barbecue the caravan which was a shame as it would have made a nice addition/enhancement for any Supra . Glen

Thor
Are you sure it was a Caravan. The profile looked very similar to an R32:p Here Glen, does yours have the little cut outs in the front bumper? I heard this was foresight by Datsun to assist Breakers with Fork Lift Trucks;)

randy
I have found my rev- limiter cutting in only by 7500 with a backfire bang esp on 1st when I accelerate hard. I guess the reading of the tacho meter is out by 300 or may have some reaction time issues.

Soonto_HAS_soop
Mine seems to do what randy's is. It gets to about 7.5k on the rev counter and kicks in with a backfire on liftoff. But what annoys me is that the car doesn't seem to be out of its powerband - especially in 2nd, which makes me an unhappy bunny!! All that I have done to the car (that I know about - no history from japan) is an induction kit with carbon air ducting, HKS SQBV, some japanese big bore exhaust and CW Decat pipes (no restrictor ring). Alex
Yeah and when it goes bang at 7,500 rpm will you still be concerned about not being able to rev higher?
Syed Shah
I doubt it's going to go bang at 7500rpm. Maybe 8k+
