A couple of little updates, fuel cap, new rubbers for the fuel tank filler and the fuel tank guard. Waiting for the bolts to turn up to put the cover on but the tank is in

Do you have the part numbers for the fuel tank filler parts.  I tried buying these a year or so ago and got told they were all discontinued.

The rubber part is discontinued now so would have to be old stock, Iv had mine for around 9/10 years now 😅 only just getting round to fitting it. The plastic part is still available though

That would explain it.  Wow, that is some long term planning 😁

Wasn’t the plan back then but it needed replacing 😅 not long after I picked it up I tore my anterior cruciate ligament and lateral collateral ligament in my knee so couldn’t work or walk to far without falling over so waited for an op. Had the op and then during recovery I got sepsis and had 4 more operations in my knee and couldn’t walk for a year. Spent my savings I had saved to do all this to my car paying bills so put the car in storage while I got the money together to do the car. Now we’re here 😅 just lucky I had it. Still loads of other parts out of production though 🤦🏻‍♂️

Looks like a good fit from what I can tell, pleased with it? Curious to know what the weight saving is over OEM.

Presume your going to leave it carbon? Should look good once you’ve transferred the third brake light and rubbers over. Are you running glass or plexi?

It’s a lot lot lighter than a stock tailgate. I only done it as wanted one without a window originally but got stung by a carbon guy.

So just went with Seibon in the end. Quality is really good, only gripe I have is one of the fittings for a bolt is a little shit and fit looks good. Some small adjustments with the hinges where it connects to the roof.

I’m having the carbon so you can see it through the original colour to be different and will be going with original glass as plexi scratches so so so easily so can’t be dealing with that 😅

Sounds good. I recall you were running a full cage as well? Any plans to run carbon doors as well, or is that a step too far! lol. 😉

Not interested in the doors at this point. Just don’t see the point unless I was really competitive and wanted to save a ton of weight 😅

Looking good mate. Remind me which wheels you went for? I’m still waiting on my Work’s, should be mid-August hopefully! 🤞

Exciting times when you’re getting ready for paint. 🙂

Went for CCW’s mate and been a long time coming 😅 can’t wait to finally see the end product of the wheels 🤞🏼 Then once it’s been painted should look 😍 what works did you go for?
