bradleyh_15
So had some more updates a couple of days ago but for some reason the forum wouldn’t let me upload pictures and now Iv had to screen shot and reduce the size of them. However here are the final pictures of the head build and it being married to the block then the almost finished product. Big shout to Lee and the team at SRD for the build and sourcing of the majority of the parts so far and also to Steve at whifbitz for the hypertune plenum pictured Edited October 10, 2020 by bradleyh_15 (see edit history)

Peter P
Sorry, looks like the forum is making you click the pictures to view them :search::search: Hello mate, having the same issues with my build thread as well. Given the stress of trying to move the forum I didn’t think the Moderators would want us moaning about the loss of imbedded photos in our threads! Engine is coming along nicely. Love the Hypertune manifold, just finishes it off in my opinion.

Thanks mate, SRD have done a fantastic job, I couldn’t have asked for any more Oh wasn’t moaning in the slightest, just thought I may have been being a tech retard  yeah absolutely love the hypertune, so glad I went for that option. Not overly sure on the fuel rail colour though
Peter P
Hi mate, How come you ended up with the red fuel rail? Car is anthracite so wouldn’t a black/bronze/copper or even silver colour work better? Only ask as can’t see anything else this colour or even close to it in the engine bay? bradleyh_15
That’s what came with the plenum, I didn’t get an option to change the colour when I bought it. But will be looking to change it depending how it looks in the bay.

bradleyh_15
Fair enough mate. Who did you get the Hypertune from? SRD or someone else? I got it from garage whifbitz. Was a good price in all fairness and quick delivery so no complaints. I can always change the fuel rails
bradleyh_15
Ting update, front subframe all cleaned and painted and being reassembled. Waiting on some new bolts to arrive from Toyota but here it is before being reassembled and the two tow eyes Edited November 8, 2020 by bradleyh_15 (see edit history)
Peter P
Very nice mate. Want to do my subframes at some point so watching with interest. You going with OEM replacement bushes or poly ones?

As soon as the bolts arrive I will get it together in an hour I did have a full super pro Polly bush set but then went the rose joint rout

mwilkinson
I bet it's costing a chunk. But when the end result is better than new who can complain. Did you have the aluminium sub-frame vapour blasted?

Got those bits sorted my self but I’m sure SRD can sort it as they got the head and the block done
