So as you may have seen the turbo is up for sale as I am changing direction, the engine is also sold, more information to come with pictures at some point.

Exciting! Whats the new plan mate? You going Dart block as well? Whatever it is hopefully you can get the turbo sold and crack on with your build. Best of luck and look forward to seeing updates.

The build is still progressing without the turbo being sold, it’s just a bonus if the turbo sells quickly as I can then go next gen and more power. Dart block would be the natural progression I suppose 😏

Got you. I’m looking at Dart block, Titan 3.4 stroker etc as next step. Turbo is a Garrett G40-1150 so shouldn’t need changing anytime soon. Good luck with the sale mate.

Dart makes sense for longevity, strength and power goal dependant and it’s a relatively decent price

Another tiny update but I couldn’t find the door lock light up surrounds and then they appear to be discontinued except for in America/ Canada. However I found a helpful guy in Japan and he sourced them brand new IMG_8464.thumb.jpeg.bb9e2c4e0589ee32c83de1111c8d22e7.jpeg

Said it before, but it’s all the little subtle details that make the difference mate. Nice find and purchase.

Took absolutely ages but then found a blinding guy who appears to be able to get hold of all sorts. Hopefully that’s the last random thing I need now 😅

Nice on Brad. Are they fitted to both doors? I'm assuming that's why you have two. It's just that all the Supra's I've tinkered with always seem to have it just in drivers door.

Also, any chance you could share the chaps details, I'm in need of some bits. 🙂

Mine had them in both doors and to be honest it’s the only supra I have ever had and the part numbers are different. I will pm you the guys details

Are you sure they are the illumination part of the lock?  They look like the standard central locking sensors switches to me.

Same as these: Link

I will get better pictures for you tomorrow out of the package

Update on Brad’ thread!

I’m taking his current newly built 3.4 engine and looking forward to seeing what the new next get 6870 can do with ultra quick spool from VVTI and stroker.

I had considered the Dart, but as I am not looking to go above 1100wheel power makes sense to stick with OEM cast block.

Thanks again Brad and look forward to seeing the progress on yours mate.

Morning Brad.

Exciting news indeed. I’ll be following this closely as plan to go the Dart build route myself hopefully early next year. Looking forward to seeing how it goes and what you achieve with it mate. Glad you managed to sell your old engine and best of luck with the new one SRD will no doubt build to perfection.
