ben_harmer32 Posted August 6, 2020 Share Posted August 6, 2020 Bought mine from Whifbitz a few months ago and I have noticed some strange dimples (indents) appearing, currently have 6 along the center part of the bonnet. I have messaged them on Facebook, they have offered to replace it but want to see it first. It's a very long drive for me and not really feasible. Peter P Posted August 6, 2020 Share Posted August 6, 2020 Sorry to see this Ben, as you know we got our bonnets at pretty much the same time. Mine has since been stripped back and worked on for the paint that’s coming so not seen these on mine, but I tend to agree it looks like a lacquer issue to me. Guessing you keep the car outside or do you have a garage for it? Just wonder if the sun/warm weather we are having has affected it. You could ask a bodyshop to take a look at it, might be just as easy to have someone flat it down and re-clear it for you mate. Appreciate the ball ache of trying to get it back to Paul/Whifbitz so may be easier in the long run? Hope you get it sorted soon buddy. The ice showed up all the dimples. All very odd! Whifbitz have again agreed to replace it but unfortunatly were out of stock of these bonnets (this was in November, they were expecting more in a couple of months).
