Rattling sound from engine bay

First I would remove the aux belt

That would rule out the power steering ,ac, altinator and viscous fan

If still there then your need to start removing the cam covers

Sounds like a belt has a loose strand and is rattling off plastic, check the condition of your cam/aux belts. Or maybe theres something caught round your fan
