lockys96
This supra twin manual import, only 30,000 odd miles. buy it now 7,500. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-TWIN-TURBO-6-SPEED_W0QQitemZ4581295083QQcategoryZ18290QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem however, he hasnt stated the year, Even more funny is that he thinks it will cost £1,000 to register with the DVLA, its normally £25. i think it must be 96+ year so it cant be registered. its even more dodgy as he said there is no paperwork what so ever. you will never be able to register the car, not import documents, sounds real dodgy. RobSheffield
you are right as far as i know no papers = no registration maybe the £1000 is for SVA, cos its gonna need one of them too - but without papers its a waste of time
lockys96
yeh, it could be stolen from docks or something, beacuse you cant take a car from the docks without paying the shipping and customs vat and duty. it will never legally be your car either, as its not registered and doesnt have a log book, and u wont have any other form of receipt, apart from some crap the seller will give you. how this car is out of the docks with no paperwork is a mistery. Jake
I'm pretty sure it needs the japanese deregistration form before it can be registered in this country.

Jake
is the isle of dogs a place?Yeah, it's the very east end of London. I used to have to go there on business quite a lot when I was in the tyre game. It's pretty rough and plenty of dodgy geezers

tbourner
Hi, hello to everyonehere,I just been lurking around looking to buy a supra so have checked on here as to what to check etc, noticed this thread and just found this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-twin-turbo-6-speed_W0QQitemZ4581526336QQcategoryZ18290QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem , look at seller on this and bidder on first post??? Ooh yeah, looking to buy and sell on at twice the price, sneakily with a much smaller mention of the 'no papers' bit at the bottom of the add. Lazarus
It raised another question with me. Is it cheap enough to consider busting it up for parts?, ie TT6 into NA. You shouldn't need to worry about the docs then should you?
lockys96
i doubt it even exists, its been listed twice, by different people
lockys96
i posted to ebay, firstly item 4581295083 looks like a fruad listing, its a jap import, and has no documents at all, he is telling people he thinks it will cost £1000 to register with the dvla, when the costs £25 approx. the car wouldnt be allowed out of the docks it was imported to, without shipping, customs import and duty tax being paid, this is vital documents as proof of payment which is needed to register the car, and if the car hasnt been registered, then there should be no number plates on the car as shown in the pictures, Secondly, if you look at item 4581295083 you will notice that the highest bidder is tyson582, he has already listed the car as if he has won it, and is selling it on when he doesnt have the car in his hands, check item 4581526336 you cant have the same car advertised twice on ebay, the first probably a fraud, the second even worse. Thanks Si
lockys96
then sent to him, just a couple of questions, what year is the car? does it have no documents what so ever? do you have proof of payment of shipping, customs vat and duty, or deregistration documents from japan? as otherwise the car will never be able to be registered. another thing, if the car hasnt been registered, then why do the pics show clearly numberplates attached to the car? with uk style front plate? and it costs £25 to register a car with the dvla, not £1000. it may cost that to SVA the car, but if its over 1995 then you cant register it due to lack of a model report. one more thing i will let you know, your highest current bidder tyson582 has already coppied your listing as if he has won your car!!! check item 4581526336 he is doing you
lockys96
HA, jeez sudenly the cars BOTTOM END HAS GONE, it only has 30,000 miles, standard turbos. i like the second con listing more, item must be returned within 30 days. ha
