Afternoon all,

I'm due to move to Waddington just outside Lincoln in a few weeks and I need to get some bodywork done.

I've bought some Seibon carbon wings that need a repair and fettling to fit properly!(bought new)

Can anybody recommend a place in and around Lincoln?

Thanks

Mike

Welcome to Lincs! Your budget will drive the quality of the job but 2 of the best in the area are Paint Perfect in Lincoln and G&W Bodyworks in Skellingthorpe (just outside Lincoln) G&W does all the work for the local Audi dealer. That's who I've used and will recommend

Theres many others, Nix is semi decent but I wouldn't recommend Quarry in Waddington, had a bad experience with them a few years back, but thins may have changed

If you don't mind, what's it like living in Lincolnshire?

I've been researching land and property up there for years on Rightmove and it seems pretty cheap around Boston and Spalding. Is there any particular reason?

It's got some great public drag strips, I mean isolated, long, straight roads along the drainage canals.

Just saw a little 2 bed detached going for £57k but not much of a garden or parking, yet surrounded by acres of crop fields on all sides. Nice long drag strip outside though...

You never know. Nothing will cause more crackling than an incompatible product blend. They even do it on purpose to give a crazy paving look!

Boston - err no! I spent a great deal of my childhood there with my grandparents but it’s a different place these days. Spalding is too remote. Lincolnshire, as a whole, has remote areas but, on generally, is wonderfully quiet! The pace of life here us more sedate than most and even though some villages are built around incest you still have many that aren’t! Cost of living is very agreable and commuting to the overrated shithole is acceptable and easy.

Right, so what you're saying is that I should aim for a more upmarket area like Skegness? :D

Remote is what I want. I'll be making a lot of noise. Will need my own engineering workshop. I have no space here and I'm getting nothing done.
