m12aak
I'm planning to get a Koyorad as I've heard many positive reviews, but see Chris Wilson's response in the thread below - the stock TT rad works really well (as Swampy said) I'm not sure if they're cheaper than a Koyorad though (if you do need to replace your old one). https://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?329963-Best-radiator&styleid=
Dnk
I ran stock rad in my BPU UK spec and never had a problem, even with a stupid R spec intercooler stuck in front of it

Boyne
I've got a Mishimoto on my car. I was assured they were the same quality and as there was few week wait for the mishito I went for whibitz brand one. Live and learn plenty of experience guys on here should listen to them, stock it is.
Ric
Mishimoto is real good. I've not seen cheap Chinese ones at same quality or even close. And lifetime warranty? no brainer Of course sellers will say they are of equal quality.

I have same problem here with a new radiator i bought from whibitz, with a leaking bore in the radiator... they said too they never have had any problems with their radiators, but there is a first time to everything... so looking forward to see what solutions i can get with them.. Hamilton
I recently got the Mishimoto- very happy with the fit and quality. Only thing I miss is the gearbox oil cooler built into the base of the OEM rad (for autos only), so had to fit a standalone cooler at the same time. Tyson
As far as I’m aware you can’t get a OEM manual radiator anymore.
rider
I bought in a new radiator as a spare last year seeing my car is still running on its original. Got it via TCB and there is no longer an OEM option but there are radiators that look similar (including an expensive Blue Print option) that are listed for the Supra. You can get an auto rad which will fit and work in both an auto or MT car or for and extra £60 you could get a manual rad which is the same minus the oil cooler element. So, I bought an auto rad and if people want you can always run your PAS fluid through it or just leave it unused. I wrote a thread last year on radiators that detailed all the lookalike options. Use the auto rad if its available and don't use the autobox cooler on it, just blank it off if your cars manual

herbiemercman
Hi Dunk, Why is the auto rad the best choice, is it because it is less expensive?
Dnk
Hi Dunk, Why is the auto rad the best choice, is it because it is less expensive? I've no idea on the price for either OE auto or manual radiators but if you have a manual car you can use the auto radiator if the manual is no longer available. If both are unavailable then your into the aftermarket world so need to be careful and go from others experiences I've just done that on my BMW as my trusted local garage recommended i fit a Nissens radiator which is 1/4 of the price of OE from BMW

Tyson
Hi Dunk, Why is the auto rad the best choice, is it because it is less expensive? The OEM radiators are far superior quality to most of the cheap rubbish that’s out there. My radiator lasted 22 years before it needed replacing. My radiator lasted 22 years before it needed replacing. I got 25yrs similar to you, however all the stock radiators are discontinued, keron assures me his rad is made from a new original sent away to be duplicated. So will update that's in transit, And yes cheap rubbish is putting it mildly.
Tyson
Depending on what it is that is damaged you could look into getting your existing radiator recored?
