The neon was from the States, I was hoping it was a bit bigger, but does look nice lit up especially with the main lights off. Garage is still a work in progress as the flooring and the rest of my pictures etc will go up hopefully in the new year. What flooring are you getting? Great choice, I also have my heart set on Swisstrax when I get around to having a proper garage for the cars. I'm sure you've probably looked into how best to install it, but if you haven't Matt from Obsessed Garage in the US has a few great videos with useful tips/tricks, this is one of them:

Fortunately Elite offer a white glove fitting option for the Swisstrax flooring which I plan to use, will make the whole thing a lot easier and ensure it’s done just right. Also having a couple of their signature type tiles added with the Supra logo. Should look pretty cool when it’s all done.

No, last I heard from Driftworks was the replacement front was due to be finished in December, then it’s a case of shipping to Driftworks, them checking it and presumably sending it out via DPD. Given I’m 99% sure it was DPD who damaged the first one, I’m just praying it gets to me ok this time. I doubt I’ll see it much before January or possibly even February at a guess mate. Be nice if it turned up sooner, but not holding my breath!

mharvey
I thought I was envious of your car Peter....I was wrong, it's that garage that I'm envious of Scratch that, it's both. Glad the cars working as intended now, just in time to tuck her away haha I had the same dilemma but 2022 should be a good year

Been a long time coming and lots of graft, but pleased the car and garage are coming along now. Got her out yesterday for a quick fuel run before it goes into hibernation till next year. Lots more planned for both the car and garage in 2022, should be a good year indeed.
Peter P
Hi All, Been a while, unfortunately money is tight so having to pause the build for a bit. I did however finally get the replacement front wheel from Works/Driftworks yesterday. Quick trip to get the tyre fitted and balanced and then installed all four. Hope you agree these look amazing and really work with the colour/styling.

I’m happy with 18’s mate, these are also as big as I could go without wide arch kit. Running 315/30 on the rear and 265/35 on the front. SRD can always tweak the suspension when it’s next in to reduce the gap a little.
HarleyFDMD
Those wheels look incredible. Dieter
Top, top, very perfect your car and everything fits together super, very good combination, you can not do better, also the diffuser, in this way I find the most beautiful .... You are correct, this is the TwinZ rear diffuser. This was custom installed and painted by Matt at MH Bodywork, notice the lower section is black with the rest in the same colour as the car. Also added the mesh to finish it off.

Peter P
Afternoon All, So whilst I mentioned the next big stage of my build is on hold due to not having the finances I need, it hasn’t stopped me from making some progress. Tackling a couple of jobs myself to save costs over the coming weekend (booked Monday and Tuesday off work as well in case it takes longer than planned!). Biggest job is swapping out my broken dash with the flocked replacement, had this done by Nikki at Banbury Flocking Services near Silverstone. Have to say photo doesn’t do it justice but should look lovely when it’s in the car. Also excited to fit my re-webbed OEM seatbelts from Ogreteam. The mechanisms are the ones that were originally in the car but the webbing has been stripped out and replaced with the red webbing shown in the photo. Did have a set off eBay in red, but they are terrible and should be avoided. I’ll post some progress photos and the finished article when it’s done. Wish me luck!
Peter P
So small update, seatbelts are all done apart from fitting the female stalks to the seats. Huge shout out and thanks to Ogreteam who did a great job with re-webbing the OEM units. Old dashboard finally came out over Easter, issue I had was despite following a good guide from the forum, the addition of my alarm/immobiliser and some other added electrical bits to the dash loom meant I couldn’t remove it with the loom attached. Handily the loom is fixed to the back of the dash with screws (don’t cut the cable tie fixings!). I’ve transferred over all the dash fixings (air vents etc), so just need to reinstall it when I can borrow a second pair of hands (hopefully this weekend). Then it’s just a case of patiently reconnecting all the wiring, bolts, passenger airbag, glovebox, stereo, centre console, dash trims etc. I’ll get some photos up once it’s all done and back together.
Dieter
Well that's great to hear, I'm glad for you and I'm sure you'll get support from your mates regarding the electrics yes you really have to take your time otherwise it can go wrong and lead to big problems we also had a part connected to the control unit 14 days ago we were at it three times until we realised that the instructions that were available on a portal for downloading had an error and that was a connector where the pin assignment was drawn in incorrectly and I then downloaded a complete Japanese manual but in English and the assignment of the connector was entered correctly
Peter P
Afternoon All, Was a massive challenge thanks largely to the extra wiring for the alarm/immobiliser, but it’s finally done. Everything looks good and all working which has to be a good thing. I’m really happy with how it looks but let me know what you guys think. Cheers all.
