If it’s like mine, you’ll know pretty quickly it won’t fit! I’d say you can check without taking it out the plastic mate.
Peter P
Hey Guys, Small update as still waiting on the new OEM windscreen scuttle to arrive so we can get the bonnet fitted. After that it’s small finishing touches and then the waiting game for my new wheels and the re-worked headlights from Harry Moore. We added a new boot badge in gloss black, also painted the windscreen washer jets and Matt has done a splendid job tinting the third brake light to match in with the rear lights. Love how it’s come together.
Burna
Lovely Peter, but you definitely need one of my 'Supra-Shifter' kits to finish it off mate lol

I’m all over one of your shifter kits when funds allow. I’ll probably be running the new ISF 8-speed gearbox and SYVECS by then, so should be a nice final touch before we tackle engine build and single conversion. Do love the ‘Supra-Shifter’ kit, will work really well with my build mate. Can’t wait.

I'm sure nearer the time I can work with my old mate Lee to make a version to work with your new ISF gearbox too

Peter P
Afternoon Folks, So the new OEM windscreen scuttle panel arrived today (thanks Paul and team at Whifbitz). Popped it over to Matt and we ended up installing it along with the new rubber seal. Also fitted the bonnet and the new carbon bonnet lifters. Matt was busy sorting out the meshing for the side skirt ducts when I arrived, so those are now looking rather tasty as well. With the bonnet fitted, there are no more large bits to do, just fiddly stuff. Won’t be long till we are stuck waiting on the new wheels and the re-worked headlights from my good buddy Harry Moore to finish it off. Hope you like the photos, looks amazing in person. The fit and finish on the bonnet for an aftermarket carbon part is insane!! Matt did such a great job.

Peter P
Hey Folks, Small update from Matt today, he’s got the windscreen wiper arms painted and reinstalled, plus the fiddly job of getting the windscreen washer jets and associated plumbing fitted to the vented carbon bonnet. Think that only really leaves modifying and reinstalling the front wheel arch liners, and then a final polish. After that it’s a waiting game for the new wheels and the reworked headlights from Harry Moore. So close to being ready for the trip to Lee P/SRD for the next phase of mechanical work. Can’t wait! You’re not wrong, although even when it’s finished at M H Bodywork, it still has to go see Lee P and the boys at SRD, so won’t be getting much time with it till after that. I know it’s going to be well worth the wait, but that first drive when it’s all done will be so good! Just have to hope the weather is still nice by then! Lol. Checked with Driftworks and they have said my new wheels should be arriving in the U.K. around the 11th August, so hopefully have those here and wrapped in the new tyres and on the car by mid-August. Think Harry Moore is aiming to have my re-worked headlights back to me around that time as well, so should all come together nicely. Just a question of whether that leaves enough time for Lee P and the guys at SRD to do their bits including the MOT before the Go Japan show at Brands Hatch I was hoping to attend on Sunday 26th September. Fingers crossed as know they are mega busy at the moment.

Peter P
Hey Folks, So no real updates on the car, Matt has been finishing up his bits and we are just waiting on the new wheels (due to land tomorrow hopefully!), and my re-worked headlights from the talented Harry Moore. Hoping both are here and fitted soon so it can venture over to SRD for the first phase of work. Will get the new radiator installed (current one is leaking), a full service and the all important MOT. That way it’s road legal and I can hopefully get it to Go Japan at Brands Hatch at the end of September. It can then go back when Lee/SRD are a bit clearer for the rest of the work I’ve paid for. That includes: new HKS Hypermax suspension and setup, new TRD engine mounts with Whifbitz conversion brackets (early type which are better), gearbox cooler, BPU work, pedals, AFR gauge install and the new steering wheel with paddle shift to replace the tiptronic buttons. In other exciting and related news, the car’s home (my double garage) is getting re-built in the next couple of weeks. Losing the central pillar, thicker steel, single electric 5m garage door from RDC, new concrete ramp from the driveway to the garage for easier access (had rubber ramps before I had to lay out every time I took it out or put it back!). I’ve also treated myself to a whole new workshop setup which arrived today on two pallets. Can’t build them just yet as need to finish clearing out the studio the previous owner installed, then they can go along the entire back wall (5m width so should be perfect). I’ll also get my new floor in grey and black tile early next year to finish it off. Couple of photos for reference, will post some more when it’s done. Peter P
Afternoon All, So chased up Driftworks today on my Works wheels, apparently they are waiting to clear U.K. Customs and that’s likely to be another 3 weeks! Gutted as that’s my hopes of doing Go Japan at Brands out the window. On the garage front, been a hive of activity here today. They’ve bricked up the old single glazed windows so just need to get them rendered at some point. The front has been demolished with the new thicker steel now installed and site made safe until the chippies turn up tomorrow to do the framing and cladding. I also snapped a photo of the studio that needs to be removed inside on the right so I can have a proper double garage to work in. I’ll do some more updates tomorrow.

Amazing build Thank you buddy, will be a great home for the Supra when it’s all done, lots still to do, but it’s getting there now. Should have the cladding up tomorrow to seal in above the new steel, then it’s a waiting game till Tuesday when RDC are here to install the new door. Peter P
Evening Folks, So been another productive day on the garage re-model. Got the framing and cladding all done and dusted. Skip hopefully going on Monday and RDC here on Tuesday to install the new door. Ramp from driveway to garage should be done next weekend as well. All on target to give the Supra a nice home when it returns. Popped to see Matt as well today to drop off my new carbon inner door sills (thanks to Paul/Whifbitz). Hoping the headlights are done soon so I can get it over to SRD for the first bit of work which is new radiator, service and MOT. More updates next week when the new door to the garage is installed. Good weekend all.
mwilkinson
Great work. The units from Sealey you've bought are good. I've got the same in mine, and I think Jamie P has also got the Sealey units, but the model up.

Won’t get to install mine for a bit longer as I have some bits that belong to my Brother left in the studio to clear first. Hoping won’t be too long as would be nice to get it all built and installed. I liked the fact they were grey and went with the stainless worktops as well. Nice to hear from someone who has them though.
