MR D
Hi Apologies if this has already been asked in recent threads but 'search' seems to take forever, can anyone recommend a decent snooper , road angel etc that they are currently using and are happy with it.... Cheers in advance. Paul
Geezabloke
I called Black Spot today who manufacture the Road Angel, they are forwarding the spec sheet and brochure. It now comes with an add on that pics up hand held laser as well, you can update from their web site for new locations and it costs £40 to re-subscribe after 1st year. Sounds like it covers most if not all speed cameras and detectors? Please correct people if im wrong? £399 all in..................Not sure if thats good value? But will probably buy one this week......:flame Dev

Geezabloke
Does it do what they say Steve, has it saved your Bacon? HGow do you power them? do you have to trail a lead down to the lighter socket?
Mark D
Currently using the latest snooper S6 Neo with the laser/radar detector. Works well although I have found a couple of gatsos that weren't yet registered. My only complaint is that the radar detector keeps picking up K-band signals and if you have it set to detect radar you can't turn that noise off. Every minute it starts beeping. I have managed to get around this problem by setting it to only detect laser signals and let the GPS system tell me about Gatsos/Truvelos etc. Therefore I will have no warning about police radar and first shot laser (though it has picked up hidden laser once so far). Chris R on here has done an excellent installation in his car. .....Chris, if you are reading this can you post it up on here or are you going to start installing them professionally (if so how much as yours is that good) Hope this was useful MR D. So does that mean you have received two £50's from them. Basically i used a flexiable arm from a Goodmans CD platform and fabriacted a bracket to use with the one supplied. I Plan to do the same in our other two cars so i can transfer the units (Radar\Laser detector and GPS unit) over. The flexible arm is fixed to the centre console low down in the passenger footwell and covered by the carpet in the car. The unit sits near to the auto lever. So Mark hows all the new mods. Geezabloke
Do these units have to be in line of sight? ie, at window level to work?

jjgage
http://www.originbluei.com/ don't buy this one though because they are working on a new one that incorporates mobile lasers and temporary motorway cameras and will be out in mid-june, same price I think...
