Andrew K
I’m sure I see a post on here a few years ago where this was being talked about, people thought the engine bay colour was the same as the body work but it wasn’t and I’m pretty sure there were paint codes posted up so you could get the correct colour mixed up in a can. I have been searching for ages and can’t find the post anymore! Could anyone help me out please? My supra is Black 202 and would like to get some paint brought or mixed up to match the engine bay 100%
evinX
Its a 2k epoxy primer. Baldy used to match and do them in tins. Silver supra has a grey epoxy...red for red...black for black...metallitcs have a flat base epoxy...like batic blue has a darker dull tint. I imagine a black with the base mixed into it

Andrew K
Thanks for the info Evin that’s a great help Thought I had seen a post on here and Baldy was the go to guy for this sort of thing, didn’t he pack up or retire from doing bodywork? There is a place local to me that should be able to make up some tins for me.
