shaz2010
Hi lads, just looking at installing this today I already have a greddy profec new style so the plumbing is a easy swap over. The thing is the greddy didn’t have a signal (white) and blue (throttle input signal) wires to incorporate into it. Have anyone got where these need to go into. I’ve read the install instructions and don’t no where they are on ecu? Also do they need to be installed? Cheers
shaz2010
It mentions in the advise bit, that if a speed limiter is installed this hasn’t got anything to do with the hks fcd I’ve installed!? I’m sure when I did that there was a signal wire I tapped into ?
Samurai 20V
The HKS has tables that can be setup by RPM & Speed to fine tune the offset and achieve tighter control. I posted a link to the ECU pin outs on the other thread you bumped. Get the EVC writer as well, allows you to access the controller on a laptop, way easier to setup. shaz2010
Again appreciate the help, so I’m i right in thinking that unless Im to fine tune I can run without connecting the (signal white & throttle blue) wires? And if I decide to, I can then run some extra cable from Ecu pins to BC loom in the future. Or do they need to be connected for the controller to work. shaz2010
So took this to be set up on the dyno but the guy said it won’t hold the boost, after looking around online I’ve seen this needs to be set up on the road first and if not it will not work correctly! Any one had issues with initially setting it up on the road.
