VIL
I know I have had mine for a few years now and depreciation takes its toll but at this rate mine will be worthless! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-TWIN-TURBO-1997_W0QQitemZ4580192020QQcategoryZ18290QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

merckx
It's very nice, just been looking - probably get over 10k! Depreciation is only a problem if you want to sell though.
terribleturner
I think it's cars accross the board to be honest. RX7's and Skylines can be picked up for 4/5K now. That one still has 5 days to go so will go up, that's if people see it.
VIL
I know what you mean, but they openly admit that they just want to shift it on so someone will get a bargain! This is basically a brand new car (in supra terms) ...... When I bought mine you could not find a decent anywhere, and those that were you paid the premium! Makes me think I might shift the old girl on and get a newer, lower milage TT.

SupraStar 3000
Question: How does the insurance work with depreciation? When I insured my soop i STRESSED that the car was in A1 condition and wanted top valuation cover for it including mods. After a few phone calls and sending documation, photographs and receipts etc. they agreed value (a good valuation). Does this value depreciate automatically with the car? If so, how much etc.. Fifty
Thats a very good question. I thought it worked like this; you have a lovely car worth say £12000. You pay the insurers a big wadge of money every month cos you have no choice. You are hit by some twat; they blame you and you get £4000 is that correct lol
SupraStar 3000
yes, correct Thats how it always works with me AND thats why I asked for a good valuation in writing for the soop this time.
toyotasuprauk
Thats a nice car will be interesting to see what it gets bid up too. But unless your selling you really dont want to be looking at prices far too depressing.
toyotasuprauk
Looks like the passenger door is a slightly different colour.
AJI
a car is always worth what the buyer is prepared to pay for it. if yours is a nice car then it will hold a certain value..... cheap cars are usually cheap for a good reason. I have also noticed a lot of Supras going pretty cheap.. but I'm guessing this is because they are approaching high milage and therefore require potential work in the near future such as turbo, cambelt, bushes, etc. etc.
