Any recommendations for a engine stand

Thanks for the feedback I will take a look at the SGS one I had a look at the Clarke’s and machine mart ones but they had mixed reviews hence this post but mainly seemed to be people struggling to get the locking pins in whilst engine was rotated and I don’t think this would be a major issue that would bother me to much mainly stability and of securing really is what concerned me thanks lads

Ive got two machine mart ones, one mega heavy duty one and a lighter duty one. Both worked perfectly well. I never had a problem rotating a 2jz fully dressed engine on either stand. If youve got the storage space the U shape legs one is mega stout

I was in the same situation in last autumn. I needed a sturdy engine stay for my export spec 2jz-gte and ended up to order this one: https://www.bahco.com/gb_en/500-kg-geared-engine-stand-pb_bh8ac2-500_.html

 

I did had a flimsy basic engine stand before, but I did not wanted to risk dropping my 2JZ to the ground if the flimsy engine stay would have let go.
