griffsplace
Hi All I am working my way through a few fixes on the Supra and have always hated the additional fan hanging off the boot lid for clearing the rear screen. Last night i did some digging and unearthed that the power supply for the add on fan was simply coming from the disconnected rear screen heater. A few continuity checks shows that the majority of the heater element is now missing, hence the replacement with the butt ugly add on fan. Is is possible to fix the element, there is alot missing, its not just like one line that has blown, although there are lines the electrical part seems to have been removed. Does a new screen come with the heater element?. Alternatively, i am looking at making a new rear trim cover with a fan incorporated, anyone else interested in one if this is a common problem with a typical expensive Supra fix. Noz
Lol at that fan lol wtf. Replacing the screen should fix your issue. Get new if you can. Better chance of there not being any broken sections.
rider
Just use your a/c, that'll keep all the glass clear. Unless thats not working either?
Ric
The supra never came with a fan, thats a proper janky fix lol You can buy the conductive paint for heater wires. Perhaps worth a try?

Delboy52
You can get conductive ink in a pen form. Maybe you could fix the broken connections with it. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Circuit-Scribe-Conductive-Ink-Pen/dp/B00OZATJ3A
