Wasn't talking about the OP, MOT's in general, but you change it to suit your arguement. A lot of people do sod all to their cars all year and wait for the MOT to 'fix' they're issues, there will be a lot of unsafe and downright dangerous cars on the roads in the next 6 months, tough one for the Government to call, chance of spreading the virus more, or more crashes from dangerous cars.

I was obviously talking in the context of the OP, this is his thread after all. There are always "dangerous" cars on the road as friendly MOT centres have been around since the dawn of time, let's be realistic now. I would probably concentrate on eradicating the virus as that would seem to be more pressing and attainable of the two.

40 year old cars are automatically exempt from the MOT test, yet they tend to be in better condition than the much newer cars on the road, so I don't think the formula is quite as straightforward and simple as you make it sound.

Food for thought though I guess...

Again you change to suit, here is your first post.

"Glad your car passed its MOT though I am disappointed the MOT centre was open in the first place."

You're disappointed the MOT centre was open, that's as a whole then.

And I didn't say "as simple as you make out" clearly you keep changing as suits, as per previous threads, quite tiresome. Oh I'll refresh for you. "tough one for the Government to call, chance of spreading the virus more, or more crashes from dangerous cars. "

Didn't think I'd have to explain this; I was trying to be diplomatic/nice...

You hold a grudge don't you... everyone else seems to have been able to move on. New year, new pandemic, move on dude.
