A couple of points to note from Bojo's recent press conference:

 

1. One of the first things he stuttered was something along the lines of 'some people are comparing this virus to the common flu and such a comparison is wrong'. Whilst he is correct in saying that as this virus is proving to be far less fatal than influenza, I doubt that was the message he was going for. It also felt rather staged as it was the only 'scientific' assertion he made throughout the entire conference. Almost as though he was made to say it for dramatic effect and legitimacy, as it came from the PM rather than his sidekicks.

 

2. Why did he feel the need to stress that point and then go on to say that 'we should all be prepared to lose loved ones before their time'. Then contrary to the entire tone of the conference, when asked about his contingency plans should he become incapacitated, he laughs it off with 'I wash my hands'. If this was truly a threat, I would have expected the PM to set out his contingency plan for such an eventuality, which given the tone of the rest of the conference, was imminent.

I need to change the title of my thread to "How Will CoronaV-19" affect old Supra owners?

If i was 20 years older i would be confined to quarters, i just have to stay in with a bad back, (the front is OK),and i have a garage full of Stella. Herbie.
