400BHP
Hi guys I have now aquired a '95 TT auto UK spec car and its fantastic, very clean and totally standard (rubs hands together gleefully). However I have some issues, these being I wish to obtain a workshop manual but haynes do not do them, has anyone got one or know where to get one? I also have a problem with the headlight washers, they dont work, its not the fuse because the wipers and washers share the same fuse and the wipers work, the windscreen washers also work. any ideas? Pump failure? I suppose i have to remove the sodding bumper to get access to the washer bottle dont i. I also wish to remove the intercooler and clean it as its jammed with road shit, bumper off again? i think i'll fill the holes in the bumper with mesh to stop stone holes too! Guest Martin F
Workshop manuals are only availbale from Toyota and a complete set cost close to £150. Haynes never made one for the MKIV. If you order the US version from http://www.toyotaworld.com it will be about £70 and is a close match to a UK car. Alternatively keep an eye on EBay they do come up from time to time. SimonB
http://www.mkiv.com has got a lot of the service manuals on-line here. It's for US spec cars but there aren't many differences.
400BHP
Hi Guys... The word from TGB is that the workshop manuals are no longer available which is really handy, the supra hasn't been out of production for very long and they have already run out... you want to hope you dont need a replacement oe part! When I get some money i will be having a little play with the engine, I think some samco hoses would look nice!! (and a huuuuuge water/air intercooler and water injection when i hike up the boost) There;s so much I would like to do but money is gonna be the problem at leat til i have paid it off... 18 months to go. Perhaps I should see the missus for some adjustable suspension!
mos
Got my manuals from the U.S. and they are brilliant, 3 volumes, engine, chassis body, and electrical.
Steve Cargill
Martin, do you have the part number for the manuals? 400BHP - the Supra stopped being imported in '95 I think - 7 years. Even then it was a specialist car serviced by Lexus dealers of which there are about 60 I think.

It's supposed to be crap, and just some scanned in pages. Although it is possible that there is a legit 'Toyota' version around somewhere. Steve - there are various manuals for the different years and a few supplements. The US one for 1995\96 that i have is manual number RM444U. Covers everything except wiring. Geezabloke
Martin I'll let you know, it only cost £11.50 inc p+p so worth the risk i think.......
