Dnk
Not a great start, sending it back as the adapter when screwed into the lance is 90 degrees out so the soap bottle sits horizontally and no use what so ever At least the seller has sent me a return postage label and promised to resolve the problem
peter richards
bit more dunk and get a decent lance and 10l of foam go cheap itll last two mins or wont work at all
Crossy
EZ are very cheap. Their products are always in a constant state of sale to encourage more new customers through the door. I've used most of their products and actually very recently sold it all on as it just sat at the back of my cupboard. Their pre-wash is the only reasonable product I used
Dnk
The seller sent me another lance and its still no good and about 45 degrees out of being inline, i asked the seller to check this before sending a replacement which they obviously haven't, just asked for a refund so we'll see where that goes

How does the one you posted get round that problem
peter richards
dunk the fitments on the end screw on ,so as yours is a 1/4 turn ,just either put a bit of ptfe tape on it and screw it on so its right when you fit it to the lance ,unless the fitment is fixed which all the ones ive sold on here arnt as people have different pws, plus don't go for a plastic fitment
Dnk
Yes i know it screws on and tried ptfe tape but didn't work, you can't get it tight enough not to keep coming loose. The karcher fits like a bayonet and turns through 90 degrees The only way to do it i can see is to use some thin washers to change how far the fitting screws into the lance, pretty crap if you have to do that though, really needs something like a quick release coupler so it can sit in the correct position https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/130905519040?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=130905519040&targetid=879667141355&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=1007011&poi=&campaignid=9446166163&mkgroupid=95890790396&rlsatarget=aud-629407026905:pla-879667141355&abcId=1140486&merchantid=101743147&gclid=CjwKCAjwg6b0BRBMEiwANd1_SOzuwmnwMe0s3Pla62iuDhw-QuSalUWZ91DOsxkzMbsvFp4UcrzwihoCVBgQAvD_BwE Edited April 5, 2020 by Dnk (see edit history)
peter richards
ok again the reason to use brass ,as you can put it on with a proper spanner to the correct angle ,all ive ever used is the brass fitments I had a karcher for for years and they never let me down ,then changed to HD so different fitment ,think I gave my karcher fitments away on here agter I changed
Dnk
Need a lance that fits to this
peter richards
the threads are tapered ,so you have tio screw them right in to get them tight or they were on mine yours might be parallel im not sure , but try and get a decent one mate ,buy cheap itll only let you down ,all of these are cheap Chinese knock offs mate
Dnk
The EZ is brass Peter and you cannot tighten it up enough, i've tried trust me
peter richards
on mine I always use a short piece of 1/4 stainless pipe , so the fitment on one end and the oipe into the lance that way you can set it at any angle, as the threads on the pipe are tapered
Dnk
This is whats required to do the job properly https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/124006939021?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=124006939021&targetid=876487124366&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=1007011&poi=&campaignid=9441124701&mkgroupid=91043569850&rlsatarget=pla-876487124366&abcId=1140496&merchantid=9460704&gclid=CjwKCAjwg6b0BRBMEiwANd1_SDtLd_9nVzXfWY4U4yEjGCWbNUBZ4dGt7_KDwkNQOWSzz4JqCxT3CxoC2QkQAvD_BwE

Crossy
The kit I have from Juicy literally just screws a 1/4 turn onto the Karcher fitment to replace the elongated nozzle. Long nozzle comes off with a 1/4 turn in seconds, snowfoam attachment goes on with a 1/4 turn in seconds. I could make a video to show you if you like, I'll be cleaning my car tomorrow on my Rota Day off
Dnk
Its how the karcher adapter fits to the snow foam lance thats been the problem When the adapter was fitted to the EZ lance and tightened up it leaves the bottle sitting at 45 degrees once its connected to the Karcher trigger section. You can see in the photo, this is screwed on as tight as it will go with a spanner, to get it vertical it has to be undone 135 degrees and is then obviously loose, evening using lots of PTFE tape it doesn't work hence sending it back. Thats why if i get one now i'll use a quick coupler then there is no problem with alignment
