I am fitting an AFR gauge and i want to find the best connection point under the bonnet in the main power supply, which is connected to the ignition switch output, this i assume will be the same supply that feeds the relays and fuses. I don't want to make the connection under the dash or inside the steering column housing as i have to have access to an in line 5amp fuse unit i have to fit. Any help will be appreciated. Herbie. herbiemercman Posted February 25, 2020 Author Share Posted February 25, 2020 Many thanks Dunk, amazing how many components are in the electrical system, its a wonder how the things carry on working. I can see where the main power supply coming from the ignition switch is, it is in the starter relay box on the nearside of the engine compartment. I just need to find the colour of the supply wire and pull it out of the loom, it should be a heavy duty wire and only powered up by turning the ignition on. Herbie.
