tayr
Just took my BMW for its MOT at a reputable place, took it to them last time. No issues, no advisories. I got an advisory for an air freshener ffs "Items removed from driver's view prior to test ()" A) whats the point in jotting that down? b) how the hell is that obstructing the view? If it was a huge thing hanging down then i get it.. but seriously..
rider
This is why I always put the dice in the glovebox ahead of a MOT test.
Dnk
Its a joke when you think how many sat navs or phones are stuck onto the screen. Some testers are very anal but they have the power, the place i have used for many years has a new guy doing them now and i dread every test
Scooter
I think that in the long run this could be a positive, an advisory for this is picky and so everyone in the future that might look this up will think the same and if that's all that was noted by such a picky bar steward then it was 100% in good shape!? Agree with Scooter, I always get a little suspicious when a car has an MOT history with zero advisories, fair enough on failures but advisories are just the norm on most cars.
